Job Title: SAP Release Management Consultant (French Speaker)

Job Type: Contract (3 months)
Job Description
- Defining release standards, processes and metrics
- To act as the Gatekeeper' to the Production environment.
- To work with the Release Manager to manage the Releases through the release life cycle
- Participation in Freeze release scope (enhancements from Change Approval Board and incidents)
- Confirming all approvals are received for the change requests/incidents
- Co-ordinate integration where necessary with all stakeholders
- Ensuring all release requirements are met
- Moving releases into pre-production and production environments
- Performing transport exports and imports
- Monitoring log files
- Fixing technical problems during the transport process
- Communication final release contents to appropriate parties
- To provide updates into the weekly Release Status Meeting.
Skill set:
- SAP Solution Manager (configuration/use of system)
- SAP Basis (System Monitoring & Administration, Transport management)
- SAP ABAP is a plus
Role and Responsibility:
- Contribution to SAP Operations Management
- Execute the object transports (including all necessary corrections, minor change requests or special work)
- Contributes to system landscape maintenance (dev/quality/prod)
- Contributes to release meetings and acts on client's request
- Contribution to External interface systems/gateway
- Settings and management (MII, Xi/PI etc) and SAP Operations Management
- Troubleshoot issues handling
