For one of our client based in Brussels and active in the Telcom industry, we are looking for:
Senior Business Transformation Program Manager
Goals
End-to-end responsible for the successful delivery of complex strategic programs by managing scope, business benefits, timeline, budget, resources, change & communication, risk & issues, governance and reporting towards senior management
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and set goals for his/her program according to the strategic objectives of our client
- Plan the program from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
- Manage and deliver complex strategic programs through their complete life cycle and interact appropriately with external & internal parties and in compliance with the corporate methodology
- Ensure services and capabilities are delivered on-time, on-budget and with the specified qualit
- Manage the program P&L in alignment with the program sponsor
- Have a strong leadership to drive teams in programs and key work streams. Coordinates a team of project managers
- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring
- Initiate, sponsor and close the projects related to his/her program
- Monitor the planning, budget and staffing following adequate program management standards and methodology
- Report program progress and forecasts to steering committees and Senior Management
- Manage the activities with the external partners (solution vendors, system integrators )
Financial Responsibility
- Opex/capex: Size of the programs: between 5,000,000 EUR to 10,000,000 EUR
Specific Expertise
- Profound experience in successfully delivered programs with budget over €3m
- Strong expertise in strategy and delivery
- Thorough knowledge of an industry in which a shift to digital did happen. Telco industry is an asset
- In-depth knowledge of at least one main program management methodology: PGMP/PMI, MSP, Scrum/Safe (certification is an asset)
- Ability to translate the strategic direction into a concrete plan for the whole program
Experience
Relevant academic background (degree in business administration, commercial, engineering...) or equivalent by experience
Relevant professional experience, including minimum 7 years as program manager and minimum 15 years as project manager
Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to lead and influence without formal & hierarchical authority, skilled negotiator
- Right "transformation" mindset is a must
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Exceptional organizational and planning capabilities
- Stakeholder management capabilities, with regular exposure to c-level & middle-management level
- Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
- Problem solving competencies and analytical skills
- Fluency in Dutch and/or French, with proficient business English.
