SHE Assurance Adviser

Initial 6 months

Warwick

My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in an efficient, reliable and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operated at a reasonable level in an organisation preferably SHE manager/Lead Auditor and understand construction, contract and project management
  • Significant auditing or implementation experience, of management systems and have either done auditing for accreditation bodies or internal auditing of complex organisations
  • Someone who shows leadership qualities, who we could have the confidence to give a piece of work and expect them to be able to plan, manage and deliver on it
  • Candidates who have perhaps had previous consultancy experience
  • Client or major contractor experience
  • Construction/utilities/rail experience
  • Possibly someone who has significant experience in other industries that could bring some real dynamic value adding experience

Key Skills

  • Excellent report writing skills; ability to integrate information effectively, summarise with relevance and suitable impact
  • Has a manner, style and presence that makes a positive impression
  • Makes a business case not just presenting facts
  • Ability to think creatively whilst applying common sense when making recommendations to the benefit of the business
  • Passion for embedding a SHES culture without compromising the company's ability to remain competitive
  • Motivates others through own example
  • Accepts responsibility for own work and decisions
