Sr Financial Analyst
Description:

Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization.

May also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed.

Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, helps prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary.
Top Daily Responsibilities:

Prepare analysis for cost savings initiatives.
-
Extract data from large databases and link/tag data for analysis.
-
Collaborate with finance team on approach. Seek clarification from customer.
-
Approve new requisitions in alignment with budget guidelines.
-
Tracking self-funding proposals for leaders/directors.
Requirements:
-
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.

BA in Finance or Accounting required plus minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience.

Advanced Excel skills

Ability to work with large data sets

Ability to tell a story with the data

Strong PowerPoint skills

Ability to work/think independently.
