We are looking for a talented and experienced marketing manager to join our client, a major telecoms company, on an initial 3 month contract based in London.

Key purpose of this role:
This role delivers BTL marketing campaigns to prospects and the existing client customers that drive the overall acquisition and brand performance. It will deliver key parts of the overall marketing plan for their mobile phone brand and will involve planning and executing multi-channel BTL campaigns. It is responsible for driving sales performance and working closely with sales channels to ensure the opportunity is maximised.

Responsibilities:
The KPIs for this role are:
- For each campaign owned, day to day sales to prospects for Mobile
- Mobile brand awareness and consideration
- Effective management of campaign budget - usually measured by cost per sale (not cost per response)

Deliver results focussed marketing campaigns to drive sales performance

Owns the definition and delivery of an end to end marketing campaign, including:
- Ensuring that key customer insights are at the heart of the campaign
- Ensuring the campaign meets the target positioning for the product
- Ensuring the message is aligned to the relevant segments
- Ensuring any competitor benchmarks are accurate and effective
- Working with Commercial and legal teams to ensure the product messages are accurate

Work with agencies and data team to ensure results are effective
- Owns the brief into BTL marketing agencies. Accountable for the quality of the agency output and getting stakeholder buy in to it
- Owns the data brief (if required) and ensures that this is directly aligned to the campaign objectives
- Ensures that there are clear success metrics for the campaign and actively assesses against this. Uses the learnings to develop future campaigns

Key skills & experience:
- Strong marketing experience evidenced by the delivery of volume acquisition marketing campaigns BTL including experience across multiple communications channels including direct mail, email, mobile channels and social.
- Able to evidence driving large scale results driven marketing campaigns in a major consumer facing PLC business, ideally from a Mobile, Telco, Insurance or other consumer service sector.
- Industry experience in the Mobile market is preferred as the role holder will be expected to drive best in industry campaigns.

Stakeholder management
- Skills to effectively manage to Director level essential.
- Highly numerate and analytical - lives and breathes volume performance on a daily basis.
- Capable of making deductions and hypotheses from customer insight and data sets.
