As the SOE Deployment Co-ordinator, you will provide assistance to the Project Manager in delivering the Desktop Upgrade Project, specifically providing planning and coordination of the SOE Desktop deployment.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
- Resourcing coordination for each location.
- Travel arrangements for deployment resources, where needed.
- Ensure site working requirements are met by the deployment team.
- Ensure all hardware is shipped to meet the timeframes.
- Customer requirements captured, ie applications and data.
To perform in this role successfully, you will need to clearly demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of several years' experience in information technology desktop environments and experience in desktop (SOE) deployments.
- High level of desktop (SOE) skills and experience in large scale desktop (SOE) deployments.
- High level of problem solving skills in a desktop environment and coordinating the resolution of issues utilizing the resources available to the project.
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers of various IT knowledge and project team members.
- Demonstrated ability in coordinating a mix of internal and external (vendor) resources.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
