Finance Officer - PECOS, e-FInancials (Edinburgh)
Our public sector client requires an experienced Finance Officer to provide administrative and general accounting support within their Finance team to ensure financial transactions are processed effectively and on time using excel, finance and purchase order systems (such as e-Financials and PECOS).
The successful candidate will also support the accurate and timely production of regular management reports and provide transactional advice to managers (ie expense/supplier payment enquiries)
- Previous Financial administration support experience within a Finance function and have an eye for detail and the ability to work to set deadlines.
- Experience of using Excel and capable of using IT Systems s required (ie e-Financials/PECOS, desirable but training can be given)
- An understanding of financial/transactional processes, concepts and the ability to work as part of a professional team are essential.
