Associate Scientist in Cell Culture Process Development wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • University degree in Life Sciences or equivalent education with at least 1-3 years of professional experience within a pharmaceutical environment
  • Profound experience in upstream process development, preferably with mammalian cell cultures and/or viral vectors
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, willingness to adopt challenging tasks and grow in related areas of expertise
  • Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Facilitating USP lab activities and conducting fermentation experiments
  • Delivering adequate documentation of experimental data results as well as providing support to the data evaluation
  • Being responsible for implementation of new scientific technologies/equipment and lab process improvements
  • Facilitating efficient performance of planned analyses in compliance with quality, quantity and timelines in assigned projects
  • Taking care of communicating any critical issues to the appropriate management level and/or relevant project team associates
  • Scheduling and performing routine maintenance of instruments/equipment
