Your tasks:
- Operate operation systems and produce production of reports
- Keep abreast of developments in standards and settlement financial world
- Participate in IT projects and testing and audits
- Ensure conformity with the rules set by compliance or Internal Audit
- Validation and confirmation of all the bank’s trades
- Resolution of exceptions in the straight-through processing for all non-standard and complex operations for bonds, money market, FX and derivatives instruments
- Investigate and resolve confirmation mismatches and settlement failures together with front office, custodians and customers
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of confirmations, settlements and payments
- Deal and settlement instructions maintenance
- Creation/checking/maintenance of bond definitions in trading system
Your qualifications
- Banking diploma or equivalent
- Good knowledge of banking instruments, market practice and new initiatives in the banking industry
- Profound work experience, preferably in banking operations
- Ability to cope with variety of tasks
- Cooperative, good team player mentality
- Good organisational skills
- Customer-focused
- Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines
- Familiarity with Swift messaging formats
- Knowledge of Bloomberg information systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and promptly
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of German, Italian or French desirable
