Description
One of the world's largest engineering and support services companies is looking for a talented Contract Accountant to take on the responsibility for the management of all the financial matters relating to a PFI contract, as well as central reporting details.
This is a great assignment for someone to join a multinational corporation and add value to the business by presenting high quality reporting packs to key stakeholders, including the production of monthly management accounts, and variance analysis against Budget and Quarterly Forecast.
To successfully deliver in this role, you will need to:
- Be a qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Effectively communicate with the Contract Managers and Finance Director regarding contract documents, change orders and other modifications relating to invoicing.
- Adapt quickly to a changing environment, sharing ideas with different functions of the business.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with backups, including accruals, prepayments and control accounts to support the integrity of the balance sheet
- Set up and manage relevant contract coding within the IFS system to ensure accurate reporting and accounting records.
