Senior Business Analyst

6 Month Contract

City Centre

Dublin

Senior Business Analyst to provide support in relation to the various projects being undertaken by the System's Projects Team. The individual will be required to work closely with System's teams within the organistion supporting various process design and system analysis projects

Systems is managing a number of concurrent projects relating to both the technical development of the IT platforms supporting the business along with key on-going business projects, some relevant examples have been outlined below:

Residential Delivery Projects, to provide appropriate system and business process support to facilitate the delivery of the organisations Residential Initiative;

Management Information System (MIS) Projects, enhancement to the core MIS platform;

Wider system/process developments and other cross functional initiatives, as required.

The Services will involve the following key activities:

Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements in respect of specific projects.

Develop as-is and to-be process maps and data models to enable the development of solutions and setting of organisational responsibilities.

Performing detailed analysis of these requirements and formulating operating solutions with the internal project teams and the various business divisions.

Ensuring solutions are developed to support any required enhancements to systems.

Developing data solutions and reporting solutions that complement or enhance existing MI reporting.

Working closely with the Test Team and Release Management function to ensure all changes are fully tested and implemented in a secure and controlled manner.

Ensuring existing system controls and reconciliations are designed or enhanced, where required, for the Portfolio.

Where identified, championing potential improvements to the existing processes or solutions.

Experience Required

At least 7 years' experience as a business analyst, in large-scale projects, gathering and documenting business requirements and specifications in accordance with industry standard methodologies.

At least 5 years' experience with business process modelling, preparation of user guides, data dictionaries and end-user facing documentation that demonstrates scrupulous attention to detail and accuracy.

At least 5 years' professional experience in effective management of meetings and workshops and in managing stakeholders including senior management to achieve business objectives in a timely manner.

Excellent communications (written and oral), interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Additional desirable experience/qualifications:

o Experience in financial services/Banking and/or Commercial Lending or Residential Property delivery.

o Experience with data warehousing technologies and MI reporting tools.

o A Bachelor or master's degree in computing, engineering, or similar discipline.
