Description
Our Edinburgh Client is looking for an Analyst to join the MiFID II team on an initial 3 month basis. You will work in the Fund Operations team to help with setting up new operational processes and assist with the system testing of these.
You will be required too:
- Work with Excel to test the new data and reconciliation processes
- Write procedure notes on reconciliation processes
- Work with the Front Office teams to gather information and record this in excel
- Create import files in thinkFolio
- Assist with the organisation of the processes
- Assist in the documentation of new systems
- Assist in the testing of the new system - particularly around excel
- Report Analysis from old system and extract data to excel
- Search and run test scenarios on the data files in Excel
For consideration for this role, we'd prefer you have experience in Investment Operations at Analysis level - Data, Reporting, Business etc. You must have excellent skills in Excel as this will be one of your main tool for extracting data and reporting. Any experience in testing investment systems operationally would be a distinct advantage. Any experience MiFID II would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
