Control Officer (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Define and implement a governance model to monitor the manner in which outsourced services are performed, as measured by comparison to agreed requirements and performance indicators defined as part of the Intra Group Agreement
  • Conduct regular service reviews of the outsourced services, in accordance with an agreed control framework
  • Be the first point of contact for the service managers of service providers in respect of all/any control and/or services related issues
  • Ensure outsourced service providers including the Service Company are adhering to the controls framework, periodically monitor & critically analyse the operational metrics provided by outsourced service providers, in respect of the agreed controls framework
  • Review and verify the adequacy of the control Key Performance Indicators and content
  • Design and implement any new controls related to outsourcing that are deemed necessary to meet new regulatory requirements, best practice, or any change in scope of the list of services provided
  • Be the point of contact for regulatory topics


Your qualifications
  • Profound experience in an Operational Risk position
  • Experience in the Banking sector or a Big Four, a plus
  • Internal Controls: Good knowledge of internal controls and supplier Management framework, experienced in writing internal policies and procedures and process evaluation and documentation
  • Absorb large amounts of conflicting information and use it to produce solutions
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Has an in-depth understanding of Service Management Framework principles and processes and the ability to apply the technical knowledge in project or programme activities
  • Deep understanding of the technical concepts required in the role, such as: privilege accounts, breakglass, recertification, log monitoring etc.
  • Able to analyse current processes and helps to evaluate and establish requirements for the implementation of changes by setting policy and standards
  • Good resistance to stress
  • Fluency in English and French
