Description
The resource should be an experienced SUN consultant with a focus on master data management and data migration. They should have experience of using data migration tools such as Powercenter or Winshuttle or other ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools.
The resource will need to have good managerial skills and have experience of managing offshore resources and to have the necessary skills and competence to work alone on extracting, transforming and loading the master data. The ideal resource will rapidly understand the project, and what is required to obtain the master data, clean the data in accordance with the data quality rules, and to load into SUN 6.
Job description
The consultant will be responsibility for:
- Become familiar with the SPINE project and the SUN solution design and the functional components for managing the Master Data.
- Coordinate with the customers' unit(s) in each country to specify the master data to be collected
- Coordinate with the customers' unit(s) in each country to clean the master data according to the quality rules defined by the SPINE project
- Organise the transformation of the Master Data from the as is state to the to be state by the use of tools such as Excel, Access, Winshuttle or Powercenter
- Organise the loading of the Master Data into SUN 6 for User Acceptance Testing, Training and Operations Advice and or execute actions to assure the quality of the migration in projects
- Verify the Master Data has been loaded and meets the to be design criteria and quality rules
- Coordinate and collaborate with the project team members and the units and the Master Data Operations tea,
