Description

My client, and Global Insurer, has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator opening up within its Category Management team in London.
As the Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Category Management team with the evaluation of their supplier contracts, by auditing processes, select and manage suppliers, drive contract compliance in all spend categories and assuring agreed terms and scope of services have been adhered to. The spectrum of these contracts will cover all categories of spend across both IT and Non-IT spend areas.
There will be an element of supplier relationship management, liaising with the supplier and internal teams (Legal, Data Privacy etc) where contracts are not in place. The candidate will also be responsible for low cost Sourcing activities, including supplier selection and contract negotiation, liaising with the relevant internal stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities

. Responsible for approving supplier spend through the Coupa Procure to Pay system
. Responsible for increasing category compliance and customer satisfaction
. Provide support to Category Managers where required in the day to day running of all category areas
. Liaising with the Legal and Buy-Desk teams to set up supplier contracts where no contractual relationship has been identified
. Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

. Experience with Coupa or other Procure to Pay system is desirable
. Previous exposure to the procurement process, including being involved in RFPs, negotiating and contracts.
. Confidence in ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
. Experience (Degree level)
. Ability to listen and interpret business challenges through conversation and propose creative solutions.
. Strong financial and business acumen, particularly related to spend/procurement
. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
