Salesforce Solutions Architect - Canary Wharf - immediate start
Square One are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to come on board for a contract based in Central London.
Minimum
Significant experience working as a solution architect.
Experience of complex multi-system solution development projects with multi-dimensioned process and data requirements.
Hands-on experience of working through the end to end project life cycle.
Familiarity with working with 3rd party or offshore suppliers to ensure the delivery of high quality designs that conform to the solution architecture defined.
Good overall knowledge of a broad range of technology and technology trends.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels; both internally and externally.
Essential
A deep and up-to-date understanding of best practice application/solution architectures.
Past experience of designing systems or components, ideally on large projects (£5M+).
Relevant solution architecture skills (ie Data, Application, and Infrastructure), and a good understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and mapping approaches.
Experience in complex and significant Oracle (or similar for IBM, Microsoft) n-tier implementations.
Experience with formal architectural methodologies and frameworks, including TOGAF.
Experience in architecture modelling tools (EA Sparx, RSA etc).
Proficient knowledge of UML.
Candidates will have experience of working within major corporate or government IT environments where good governance and quality frameworks are in place.
Desirable
A good understanding of the Financial Services Industry would be a bonus but is not a pre-requisite.
A good understanding of architecting for Cloud.
Ability to work with others to deliver continuous improvement.
High-level Datamodelling understanding and experience.
Experience of implementing frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, patterns, standards, guidelines and tools to be used for software architecture and then ensuring they are followed as well as experience producing RAID logs/risk registers and managing architectural risk through the project life cycle.
TOGAF certified.
Experience with formal development methodologies (eg Prince2, RUP, Scrum).
Knowledge of Archimate
