Your New role:-
The team
- The Business Intelligence team ensures that the various business units get the right insights from the data, through reports, dashboards, data analyzes, self-service data cubes and predictive models.
- The team ensures that management can take the right tactical and strategic policy decisions with the aim of providing the customer with an optimal service and product experience.
- In order to strengthen this team, we are looking for a Business Intelligence reporting specialist who can roll out the new reporting environment on Oracle Fusion ERP to the end users of the Finance, Supply Chain and Procurement department.
Job description
The company migrates on Oracle ERP 11i on to Oracle Fusion. This change also changes the reporting landscape of the end users from OBIEE to Cognos (v10).
Your role is to guide your business stakeholders in this transition during the period November 2017 - March 2018:
- Functionally and technically understand what has already been built by the BI agile scrum development team and assist them as a functional analyst - bridging business and IT.
- Document the new reporting landscape and summarize it in a timely manner, tailor-made to the stakeholder so that they know what is available.
- Keep awareness training sessions for end users who map the changes, both to content and to functionality, of the reports.
- Conduct and coordinate business acceptance testing between business stakeholders and scrum teams.
- The vision, elaboration and maintenance of the post-go-live reporting environment are in your control.
In addition, you are the first point of contact for all Business Intelligence related questions within the Finance, Supply Chain and Procurement domain. You are faced with a variety of ad hoc analysis questions. You are going to proactively search for the - business value - in data, explore opportunities and advise your business stakeholders when making their decision.
As the company also Switches from SAP to Oracle Fusion at the end of 2018, this role has the potential to be a long-term assignment.
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
- You have a Masters degree in Business Engineering, TEW, Civil, IT, Information Management or equivalent through experience.
- You have been working for a number of years as a BI, business or functional reporter and/or analyst in a BI environment.
- You have a very good knowledge of IBM Cognos v10 (especially report studio). Knowledge of Qlik (View/Sense) and Cognos Framework Mgr is a plus.
- You can communicate and present quickly and convince people.
- You can summarize complex matter in an understandable way.
- You are sufficiently assertive and dare to align your reporting vision and requirements with senior management.
- You combine strong business affinity with great interest in data.
- You are learning and are not challenging.
- You can independently manage your planning, align the necessary priorities with your stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.
- You are flexible and like to work in a very dynamic environment.
- You want to fly with full goesting!
- Experience with one or more Oracle ERP modules (such as financial management, supply chain management, procurement, project portfolio) and/or knowledge of the related processes is a big plus.
- You have a good knowledge of (Oracle) SQL and MS Excel.
- You are familiar with agile scrum project operation.
- You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English. French is a plus.
