*MI Analyst - Contract Role*
My client is a global Insurance Firm seeking for an experienced MI Analyst who's focus would be in charge of analysing the change programme portfolio to provide insights for key decision making and enhance the development of an optimised portfolio.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in covering a variety of activities including portfolio management, risk analysis, risk reporting, impact analysis, impact reporting.
For this position, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying inter-dependencies between programmes and projects.
- Evaluate risks and issues and propose mitigating actions.
- Analysing the portfolio to make recommendations on the programme/project mix.
- Balancing/optimising the portfolio in terms of strategic goal attainment vs delivery capacity/capability and business as usual priorities.
- Impact analysis of impending strategy or policy changes
- Providing expert assistance to the commissioning process which adds/removes programmes and projects from the portfolio.
- Providing support/information to business planning.
- Liaising with the Finance team for monitoring of financial spend and timing/support for audits.
- Assessing benefits planning and realisation across programmes or projects to identify gaps, overlaps and conflicts and duplication in the benefits realisation plans of individual programmes and projects.
- Reviewing of post-programme and post-project evaluation reports and benefits to ensure the strategic goals have been enabled/met.
The ideal candidate MUST have:
- Portfolio management experience
- Portfolio Planning experience
- MI analysis experience
- Insurance background would be ideal
