Management Accountant, Real Assets, Middle Office, London, 6 months
Investment Management Firm requires an experienced Management Accountant to join their team in London on a 6 month contract. The role will be focused around reporting and pack production.

- Relevant Degree in Business Related Discipline
- Professional Accounting Qualification, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
- Experience of working in a property background preferred but not essential
- Experience of budgeting and forecasting in a corporate group
- Analytical
- Good Presentation skills
- Advanced Excel
- Investment Industry Knowledge
- Proactive, Positive, enthusiastic approach
- Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
- Keen eye for detail and a professional approach to all tasks.
- Knowledge of SUN/VISION accounting systems is advantageous
Specific Tasks
Management Information
- Produce Monthly accounting and reporting
- Be responsible for Real Assets Plan/Budget Process and co-ordinate all inputs into process
- Calculation of Real Assets Quarterly Profit Reforecast based on on-going activity
- Monthly profit forecast with variance analysis
- Monthly profit, revenue and expense analysis for Real Assets directors with informed analysis
- Quarterly Real Assets Board Reports including design of format
- Liaison over various reporting issues.
- Quarterly returns to supply data for
Operational Activities
- Co-ordinate and account for Private Credit transactions
- Credit control around payment of fee invoices
- Calculation and issuing of invoices
- Issuing Quarterly management fee invoices on a timely basis - External Funds
Statutory Reporting
- Quarterly VAT returns
- FCA returns - Quarterly, Half-yearly and annual
- Preparation of statutory accounts, audit file and deal with audit queries
