IT Business Analyst, General Insurance, 6 Month Contract €430 per day, Central Dublin
Our client is a large Global GI Company and they currently have a vacancy for an IT Business Analyst, to join their team. This role is a contract position, working within the IT Delivery function, this role is to provide Business Analyst support to the three IT project streams of the Brexit program - Rebranding, Reinsurance and Financial Reporting. Your role will identify, define and document business/systems requirements and functional requirements for a range of applications (Front End, Middleware, Back End) in line with business strategy. Build in depth understanding of products, processes and systems to support business strategy execution end-to-end.
Responsibilities:- Work with both business and IT teams to understand and document required application changes as a consequence of Brexit strategy
- Build effective working relationships with business partners and across the project team at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication
- Ensure solutions are consistent with operational and technology best practice
- Support applications development teams and test teams throughout the application change process
- Review test strategy and test documentation to ensure it complies with agreed requirements and overall Brexit strategy
- Support business and test team during test phase with defect triage process
Experience Required:
- 5+ years full project/application life cycle experience in a similar position required
- 5+ years of recent prior experience in General Insurance or Financial Services preferable
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in Re-insurance or Finance systems/reporting projects
- Prior experience working in an International environment
- Accreditation from a recognized Insurance Institute
