Market Data Analyst and Cost Optimisation Manager (Market Data Systems Vendor Provider Acquisition Supplier Reuters Bloomberg Contract Negotiation Analysis Analyst Account Management Buyer Finance Trading) required by my international asset management client in London.
You MUST have the following:
- Current or recent experience negotiation contract for market data services
- Excellent knowledge of the financial market data vendors such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit, BATS, FactSet.
- Market data analysis and cost optimisation
- Current or recent experience in substitution and displacement
- Experience collaborating with Front Office, legal, compliance and risk teams to establish new market data vendors
The following would be DESIRABLE, not essential:
- Experience in asset management
Role: Market Data Analyst and Cost Optimisation Manager for an international asset management company in London. You will join the London office as the sole individual responsible for managing the relationships with the Market Data vendors (Reuters, Bloomberg, BATS, Markit, FactSet etc). Over the duration of the contract, you will assess the need for, and overlap of, new and existing market data feeds. You will contact the vendors and be responsible for negotiating price and service level agreements. You will collaborate with legal, the Front Office, compliance, risk and procurement to do so.
