My client is looking for a Senior Reconciliations Analyst with a regulatory focus to join their London based office.
You will be working in Regulatory Operations, a Global Financial Markets Operations (FMO) function responsible for delivering post-trade regulatory compliance through oversight of key operational processes and controls (Global OTC Derivative, MIFIC and Regional Trade Reporting etc).
They require a motivated candidate to be part of a team taking ownership of the QA and reconciliation of each regulatory requirement by setting up the process, executing the QA regularly and improving regulatory reporting efficiencies.
Desired skill set:
- Experience within regulatory environment, specifically in the Quality assurance and Reconciliations area
- Through your extensive experience in operations/reconciliations you will have developed strong subject matter knowledge for creating fit-for-purpose business processes
- Ability to drive testing, close out key issues and drive tech changes
- Ability to work closely with Senior management as part of updates, escalation and information share
- Ability to review reconciliation process, implement solutions where required to improve completeness.
- Domain expertise across financial markets products, particularly in the context of post-trade OTCD regulations such as EMIR and MIFID
- Working knowledge of the front to back trade life cycle for derivatives, including associated market infrastructure providers and capabilities
