For one of our clients, we are looking for a BA with specific (Mysis) Equation skills.
This client is a specialist in trade & project finance, corporate banking and international money transactions. One of the biggest aims of this bank is to deploy a large-scale technological renewal of its IT systems.
A bank-wide replacement of its main business application is currently running.
As if this isn't ambitious enough this bank seeks to harness new technologies, adopt a new culture and digitize its business. Overall vocal points are commodity trade finance and asset financing in specific market niches (eg shipping finance).
The BA will contribute to streamlining banking, treasury, and trade finance operations. Equation is one of the systems that contribute to this happening and maximize STP, reduce the need for manual intervention and significantly reduce total cost of ownership across business functions.
Profile
As an Equation Business Analyst you:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience on IT projects in banking: system implementation, upgrade, customization;
- Recent experience in banking or banking systems implementation; full life cycle implementation experience (Technical installation of products/Environment setup/Training/Technical Testing Support/UAT support/Documentation/Go-live support);
- Prior undertook technical aspects of projects and engagements; install, upgrade, migrate & integrate;
- Provide information, advice, guidance, and updates throughout the project life cycle in order to assist management to eliminate risks and increase the likelihood of project success;
- Experience on (Misys ) Trade Innovation and/or Trade Portal is highly valued and definitely considered as a plus;
Main Activities:
Together with the business, you will:
- Create and carry out data migration, testing and go live procedures;
- Provide technical support through the project life cycle;
- Document processes, practices, and problem resolutions to make them available for future reference by other colleagues;
Demonstrable Skills:
- 3-5 year's experience in a similar role;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work with internal and external contacts to obtain and clarify information;
- Able to withhold oneself firmly;
