A Senior Manufacturing Engineer is required to join a market leading manufacturing company to support world class manufacturing practices.
Role: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
As Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ Own and deliver the agreed aspects of a given project within budget and time
+ Lead cost down requirements for products and manufacturing processes
+ Support Technical Engineering team to develop designs that achieve agreed cost and quality targets
+ Work with the PMO to Identify risk areas within our designs and manufacturing processes. Agree and implement risk mitigation
+ Support and suggest concept designs to meet specifications and customer applications
Experience:
As Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will have experience of:
+ HNC/Degree/Phd or equivalent in Engineering or Physical Science
+ A high level of technical ability in at least one area of key business interest
+ Use of engineering Computer Aided Design Tools
+ Design for Manufacture (DFM), FMEA and legislative compliance
+ Manufacturing process knowledge/Best Practice
+ Project and Risk management capability
