Program Office Manager/Governance Coordinator
Role:
- You support the business management, focusing on the bank's control environment and the evolution of its risk profile.
- You prepare, manage and follow up management meetings and committees in close cooperation with the bank's management.
- You combine client focus, risk awareness with organisational discipline and governance compliance.
In particular, you will:
- Manage frequent interactions with the senior and middle management, identifying relevant topics in the scope of the committee.
- Prepare meeting agendas in coordination with the chairman and considering the terms of reference of the meeting.
- Collect information through strong relations with management across the company, identify correlations and define topics to be discussed
- Ensure documents meet fit for purpose and meet governance requirements, and are made available timely to the committee members.
- Support the effective functioning of meetings with respect of the corporate governance and applicable terms of reference.
- Prepare and validate committee meeting minutes, adapted to the target audience.
- Ensure the follow-up of identified action points up to their resolution through negotiation and communication with issue owners.
- Manage effective relationships with key stakeholders in these processes, eg Risk Management and Compliance, as well as IT and others.
- Continuously stimulate risk awareness and focus.
Profile:
- You have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; you are able to write clear and concise meeting minutes and documents on a wide range of business related items, aimed at senior management.
- Y ou understanding corporate governance needs, and are a reliable gatekeeper to ensure compliance.
- You balance organisational discipline and deadline management with a pragmatic approach.
- You can build solid relationships leveraging your skills to motivate, advise, impact, influence, inspire and persuade stakeholders at different levels in our organisation.
- You are confident to engage into dialogue with senior management.
- You have an autonomous mind-set and can work independently.
- Ideally you are familiar with the post-trade environment, market infrastructures and/or (I)CSD services.
