Keil Business Solutions GmbH is innovative Google Reseller and IT Service Provider.We are recruiting for a strategic procurement specialist for a client based closed to Bochum (Germany)
Role:
• Develop, utilize and deploy best practice approaches, methods & tools and build up core capabilities within the
Underground Engineering industry in the following areas:
• Optimization of interaction with suppliers (call off process, technical requirements & trainings, etc.)
• Identify and implement innovative and efficient methods
• Closely interact with suppliers to identify measures to reduce their cost basis
• Support of client category leaders and buyers during tendering and negotiation phases to optimize identification and
implementation of savings potential (upon defined “lighthouse projects”), if required
• Provide project frame for identified levers
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years previous experience in a Procurement role or consultancy on projects within German Civil Works/Underground Engineering (e.g. DSO, construction service provider, Telecommunication, Stadtwerke) with proven track record of implemented year over year cost deflation program on external spend. Ideally industrial experience in one of more of the following areas:
Underground Engineering Civil Works Construction
• Design-to-Cost knowledge is essential, preferably for services
• Technical background (through education or professional experience)
• Able to bring a new dimension to procurement activities
• Process optimization of high-volume-low-value frame contracts
• Able to contribute to specification optimization aiming risk reduction and consequentially cost improvement
• Solid analytical skills – ability to define and understand critical issues
Strong experience in using procurement tools such as TCO- tear down analysis
Start: 15th of November 2017
Duration: 3 month
4-5 days per week (on-side)
Location: close to Bochum
Language: German, English
