Senior Infrastructure Project Manager/Brussels, Belgium
THE COMPANY
ConSol Partners client is a Cisco Gold partner who are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can obtain NATO Clearance to join and support the Infrastructure team in Brussels, Belgium. The right candidate will be working on a contract basis which will hold huge potential and experience.
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Contract Length: 120 Days
Day Rate: Depending on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Project Manager at ConSol Partners client, you will be taking the lead and delivery of multi-functional projects in various enterprise environments. Excellent communication and coordination is a big importance and is vital to the role. This is an Infrastructure focused Project management role which will see you working various projects relating to infrastructure, Internet connectivity and provisioning. A strong knowledge of networking infrastructure is required to be the successful Senior Project Manager. Working languages included will be English and French, so you will need to be fluent.
The following activities are requested by the client (non-exclusive):
- Preparation of all Project Management deliverable.
- Accurate and realistic estimations of workload, planning definition and tasks breakdown.
- Identify project risk, develop a project risk management plan and actively manage risk throughout the project life cycle.
- Assurance of deliverable quality.
- Optimal use of available resources.
- Organisation, chairing and/or participation in workshops and meetings.
- Report on project progress.
- Monitoring of costs, timescales and resources used.
- Manage interaction between the customer (business manager and project owner), various stakeholders and the internal project team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes.
- Provision of effective leadership for the project team, ensuring that team members are motivated.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
The Project Manager will obtain/experienced the following, these are vital and a MUST for the role.
- University degree or equivalent
- PMP or higher or PRINCE2
PERSONAL SKILLS
The Project Manager will obtain the following set of personal skills:
- Fluent in both English and French (this is a BIG must have).
- Need to be able to obtain NATO clearance.
- Proven experience of managing projects related to network and IT infrastructure in highly available infrastructure across geographically disperse data centres and worldwide disperse remote server rooms.
- An understanding of telco, Servers, storage and backup, disaster recovery, data centre facilities and IT security.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Sense of leadership and responsibility.
- Deep and applied knowledge of PM mythologies.
- Dynamic, organised and ability to cope with a high pressure environment.
- Able to manage significant inputs & relationships with third parties throughout the full life cycle.
