Controlling / Accounting Manager (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Review expenses for US/CH GAAP, identifying key risks areas and support review processes to ensure financials are accurate
- Ensure timely and accurate local Swiss audit and financial statement issuance.
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reporting package and prepare/approve related GL Reconciliations
- Prepare and analyse local Management Reporting schedules, as required
- Manage quarter end and year end external audit (US GAAP and Local GAAP)
- Ensure foreign currency transactions are properly recorded
- Responsible for key internal controls related to O2C, C2C, A2R and includes designing, documenting, and maintaining internal controls for local compliance (“ICS”)
- Prepare memos/whitepapers on accounting issues as required
- Lead special projects as assigned
Your qualifications
- Fluency in English is essential, French is beneficial
- Professional finance qualification
- ERP experience – specifically Oracle, HFM and related applications
- Experience of Sarbanes Oxley preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP preferred and in particular the revenue literature around ASC (formerly SOP 97-2)
- Ability to understand business issues and translate into solutions
- Passion for data integrity, process definition and organizational alignment
- The ability to maintain a great relationship with the other Finance teams and business leaders
