Sales Executive/Account Manager/Business Development Manager/B2B/Telesales/Telemarketing

Experienced Sales Executive with a real interest in payment technology and/or cloud-based systems is needed by our client, the UK's leading FinTech firm in the Direct Debit/Payment Sector to be based in Cheltenham. They offer the direct debit services and card processing solutions that are crucial for companies to take customer payments by direct debit. The company has since flourished - growing at 30% for the past two years.

Clients include Arriva Plc, Midlands Air Ambulance, Wiltshire Council and Keir Group.

You will play an integral role in selling payment solutions, primarily to larger SME's and expanding corporates, and will report to the Sales Manager.

The Role

  • Managing inbound enquiries
  • Identifying new customers and sectors
  • Running outbound campaigns via phone and email
  • Delivering online or face-to-face presentations and product demos
  • Articulating technical/software solutions in simple terms
  • Following up on calls to build relationships with customers
  • Generating innovative sales strategies
  • Achieving sales targets

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in Sales
  • Experience with CRM systems to manage sales cycle and provide accurate forecasting
  • Track record in selling corporate solutions, consultancy or outsourced services
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Capable of engaging with people at all levels in an organisation (including senior management and board level)
  • Ability to prioritise time
  • Graduate with a commercial or IT/software background (preferable)
  • Experience in managing pipeline opportunities and closing sales (preferable)
