Green Park is proud to partner with a major infrastructure group.
Background of Assignment:
Our client requires an experienced Interim Finance Director to provide immediate support to the Regional CFO of a multi-billion-pound revenue generating business unit. The main focus of assignment is to improve efficiencies across the BU, which ties into a wider group transformation agenda and to help shape the future strategic objective/plan. In addition to delivering large capex projects, there is a secondary contract requirement, these contracts ensure operational/service support and usually run for 5, 10 or 15+ years.
Assignment description:
*Deputise for the Regional CFO on critical matters effecting the BU.
*Lead the finance team made up of multiple direct and in-direct reports.
*Help shape the annual/strategic business plan of the BU and how that will complement the group's strategic plan.
*Take overall responsibility for multi-billion-pound budgets for infrastructure/investment projects and ensure accurate MI Reporting.
*Review multi-million-pound service contracts, identify efficiencies and cost savings.
*Help negotiate new service contracts when out for tender.
Candidate description:
We require an experienced finance director, who has developed their experience within large, capex driven industries and has a track record of delivering major infrastructure/construction projects. It would be of great benefit to have strong experience of working with heavily unionised labour forces and to have specific understanding of how unions operate.
Candidate requirements:
-Fully Qualified Accountant.
-Track record of delivering major infrastructure/construction projects.
-Project Finance Experience (Capex).
-Strong, large scale and long-term contracts experience.
