Job title: Sr. Big Data Architect
Job type: 6 Month Rolling Contract

The Company:
A global bank with significant operation in Dublin looking to add a Sr. Big Data Architect to their team to lead and drive innovative data strategies.
The Job/need:
Review and understand business requirements to guide the creation of a comprehensive, coherent and effective overall data architecture
Work closely with analysts, developers, data management and data quality
Design and support the delivery of a single, consistent, accurate and reconciled source of data for MI and analytics
What you need:
Minimum 10 years' experience working as a Data Architect (experience not to include time spent as a developer or analyst)
Third level degree in either maths, computer science, data analytics or related field
Previous experience working with a large data warehouse platform preferably Teradata from a design modelling capacity
Excellent communication, organisation and management skills
Ability to deliver under pressure to tight time scales
ETL technologies such as Ab Initio5
