Description
As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Interpreting existing and proposed accounting guidance and essentially communicating the impact on the business and financial processes.
- Creating reporting on key indicators to share with the management team and managing the cashflow forecasting.
- Managing and driving the month-end process, along with ensuring figures reported into Group are accurate.
- Managing the accounting, reporting and payment of VAT across all business entities.
- Holding monthly balance sheet reviews, signing off reconciliations and proposing adjustments where appropriate.
- Providing training and support to other employees and answering questions on accounting, coding, treatment, etc.
- Liaising with external auditors to ensure all statutory accounts are signed off and filled within the set deadlines.
To be successful for this assignment, you will need to be a fully and professionally qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant.
It is also essential that you have:
- A degree level in a Finance/Business related discipline or alternatively an MBA.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS).
- Proven track record of corporation tax and VAT management experience.
- Strong experience of working with remote Shared Service organisation.
- Experience working in a dynamic and very fast-paced International organisation.
