A new 6 month contract opportunity is currently available for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Queensland State Government Client based in Brisbane CBD.
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be required to provide expertise analysis and recommendations to a cost effective and scalable network model to fulfil current requirements and scale to adapt to future solutions.
This will introduce the capability to support supplied Internet services, support increased mobility and ICT security, and provide a reliable and sustainable ICT environment.
Further to this, the Infrastructure Project Manager will be required to undertake the following key responsibilities as requested below;
- Management of complex project work streams relating to IAM and EMM. Major activities within these work streams include:
- Detailed analysis of existing IAM architecture, systems, issues and/or processes.
- Development of strategic IAM services recommendations.
- Design and implementation of contemporary IAM solutions.
- Design and implementation of an Enterprise Mobility Management solution to support the insurgence of BYOx devices.
- Application of high level project management methodologies including the continual assessment and reporting on project risks and issues, schedule, resources and requirements, to ensure that projects are implemented within agreed timeframes, quality and budget.
- Ensuring project deliverables are produced within timeframes and are signed off.
- Liaising with and building positive working relationships with key Corporate Services, regional, and school based stakeholders.
- Coordination of change management and implementation activities across a diverse spectrum of facilities.
- Management and coordination of post-implementation support and transition to operations activities.
To be carefully considered for this role, we are seeking to engage a specialist demonstrating the following key areas of expertise as below;
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager specialising in on-premise and cloud based Active Directory platforms.Minimum five (5) years' project delivery experience with large and complex on-premise and cloud based IAM solutions, ideally within a government organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in practical deployments of infrastructure solutions across geographically diverse regions.
- Demonstrated experience in Change management (ITIL and project change), organisational transition and training.
- Proven high level communication skills and business engagement, both written and oral, with a range of stakeholders.
- Project delivery experience with enterprise mobile devices management, or mobile application management platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor Management and vendor integration.
