Description
Our direct, well-known client located in a suburb of Cleveland is looking for a detail-oriented and energetic IT Contracts and Vendor Management Analyst for a 6 month contract. The chosen candidate will assist in completing a backlog of work that focuses on the category space of IT Hardware and Software. This role works with various platforms to understand their technology roadmaps, inventory control processes, and facilitates discussions and negotiations with Vendors.Required:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to interact with customers
Strong communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills, analytical skills and experience in relationship management
Basic understanding of sourcing operations
Experience conducting technology based RFPs (mostly software based)
Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and rates
Basis understanding of software licensing
Technical knowledge (various technologies);
Good financial skills and understanding
Vendor management skills
Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data from various sources to determine next steps and choose the best method to display the data
Plusses:
Knowledge of Business and Information Technology functions and road maps, best practices and regulatory standards
Ability to align local goals and direction with IT vision, strategy and priorities
Contract negotiations, monitoring and management skills
