Description
As an EMEA Consolidation Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Interacting with the EMEA finance team and ensuring that the results are accurately accounted and reported in line with the business' monthly reporting timetable along with managing the EMEA group consolidation and financial reporting process.
- Performing the month-end close for several countries and report the relevant results to the US.
- Preparing roll-forwards as part of the monthly reporting process and improving it where possible.
- Driving the reconciliation between consolidation system.
- Managing the annual statutory accounts of the central companies.
- Ensuring SOX compliance and robust financial controls in the reporting process.
To be successful for this assignment, you will need to be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant.
It is also essential that you have:
- Experience in Accounting/Audit.
- Proven track record of working with EMEA countries and in a SOX environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS knowledge and the ability to apply accounting standards to the business.
- Demonstrate strong systems skills and have experience with financial systems/application.
