Proteus Europe is searching for a Fluent French and Dutch speaking Project Manager for a 6 month+ contract role within the Insurance Sector. This role will be based in Antwerp and Brussels Center, Belgium.
Our Client:-
Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.
Your New role:-
- You are attached to the centralized organization responsible for project portfolio management and end-to-end project management
- You are in charge of the follow-up of Business and IT projects - end to end-, in close collaboration with the different directions
- You make sure that the governance in place on your projects works and ensure the reporting from a quantitative and qualitative point of view
- You facilitate the tracking and reporting of the workload of the teams identified as - critical resources-
- On your projects you contribute to the preparation of arbitrage scenarios, to risk anticipation
- You facilitate decision-making in the event of resource or timing conflicts
- You keep the status of your projects up-to-date in the Project/Portfolio Management tool
- Within the central project management team, you contribute to the improvement of tools and methods of project management
- For the central project portfolio management team you provide the necessary information for decision-making
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
- You have at least a Master (economics, science, IT, ...)
- You have between 5 years and 10 years of experience in managing projects, programs or portfolios. Experience in the insurance field is an asset
- You have very good analytical skills and are able to assimilate details while having a helicopter view.
- You have good organizational skills
- You are solution oriented and you can easily play the role of mediator.
- You are assertive, persuasive and you easily know how to excite people around you
- You have a good knowledge of French and Dutch.
- You are familiar with MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and you have the knowledge and experience of project management methodologies like Prince 2, Scrum/Agile
