Description

Badenoch & Clark's notable client based in Liverpool requires a Finance Business Partner. The role is initially for 8 months and is paying a daily rate of £250 - £350 per day.

Our client in Liverpool is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team.

Job Description
The company is a large multinational manufacturing company, operating across 30 countries. The role will involve providing business insights to facilitate decision making required to achieve financial targets and savings challenges as well as driving optimal business decisions and delivering continuous improvement.

Moreover, as a Business Partner, key responsibilities will include:
*Having regular meetings with department heads and cost centres to review business performance and in turn bring variances in line with budgets and plans through taking corrective action.
*Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement of internal management reporting and systems as well as ensuring continuous improvements in variable and fixed costs.
*Functioning as a Business partner on capital projects
*Producing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, comparisons of actual to budgets/forecasts and in turn making recommendations for corrective action
*Contributing towards a high performing team and culture of development and progression
*Support on ad hoc corporate, site or departmental initiatives/projects, driven by the corporate agenda

The candidate
The successful candidate will have:

*An ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with relevant PQE and/or equivalent experience
*Extensive knowledge of SAP and Excel
*Good interpersonal and team- management skills
*Strong business partnering experience, ideally gained within an international, fast- paced manufacturing business
*An accounting background, preferably with experience in management reporting and financial analysis, including standard costing
*The ability to interpret financial information and present clearly for non-finance people
*Experience combining, analysing and presenting data from multiple sources to provide management information and to highlight opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvements.
