Implementation Project Manager - Contract - Banbury - (SoE experience essential)
Our client is looking for a Deployment/Implementation focused Project Manager, with SoE experience. The successful candidate will have experience of planning, creation and implementation of the overall Schedule of Events (SoE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Escalate Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies.
- Stakeholder engagement - includes senior stakeholders from business and IT.
- Manage the creation of the Deployment Plan and Business Schedule of Events.
- Manage the implementation of the overall Schedule of Events (with an IT representative being accountable for the IT Schedule of Events).
- Manage the Implementation Readiness Review process and completion of governance documents.
- Manage the Control and Command function (with IT and other work streams feeding in).
Required Skills:
- Must have experience writing the SoE, writing the deployment plan and the management of related events.
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager within a Financial Services context (mandatory).
- Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience of managing cutovers for large, complex projects.
- Experience of managing multiple cutovers for a single project.
- Experience of completing formal documentation: Deployment plan, schedule of events, command and control, implementation readiness review stakeholder pack.
- Working within a formal governance framework and methodology.
- Dealing with complexity and ambiguity.
- Workshop facilitation.
Desired Skills:
- Experience of running concurrent implementations for multiple projects.
- Wide experience of Banking.
