IT Asset Management Consultant - London
Square One are looking for an IT Asset Management consultant to come on board for a 3 month rolling contract based in Central London
Oversee and provide Asset Management Best Practice Advice in the areas of client and Server Hardware and Software. Collaborate with Internal and external contacts both written and oral.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Lead Subject Matter Expert Representative for all Asset Management Audits (internal and external). Consistently identify opportunities for continuous improvement for IT Asset Management. Develop and execute activities/tasks to achieve strategic objectives for IT Asset Management. Effectively sell ideas for IT Asset Management, securing buy-in from individuals, teams and management. Demonstrate technical proficiency, with expertise within technical area of IT Asset Management. Collect data and apply business knowledge to solve a range of problems. Effectively lead project themes. Effective team communication and delegation of work. Build technical and Department knowledge.
Daily Tasks:
Assess licensing needs, review contracts and license agreements. Conduct audits and continually improve Process/Procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Communicating effectively with English both oral and written (additional languages of benefit would be Japanese and/or Spanish)
Well versed in software and hardware licensing model best practices including Client and Server environment tools.
Proficient with Asset Management software (HP Asset Manager and ServiceNow), SCCM, IBM Sub-Capacity Management, Microsoft License models, Oracle License models, Adobe License models and Excel.
Required Experience:
Certified Software Asset Management professional
Certified Hardware Asset Management professional
This is a 3 month rolling contract based in Central London starting immediately.
