Description
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager for a leading offshore wind project in the UK. This role is focused on the Quality Management/Project Assurance activities for the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) package.This London based role is a long-term contract and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the implementation of project assurance for the entire WTG package, both supply, and installation.
- Implementation and updating of key package/project documentation including the Quality Management System (QMS), Project Execution Plan and Project Quality plan.
- Assisting in all aspects of Quality Management which could include the preparation and review of technical specifications, auditing of suppliers, inspection of products and works and reporting on project performance.
- Ensure any issues are captured and dealt with via the management of a non-conformity register.
- Promoting a quality culture throughout the team and ensuring all work, practical and written, are carried out to a high standard.
- Working closely with and reporting to the Project Quality manager and WTG Package Manager.
- Experience operating at Quality Manager level ideally within offshore wind and specifically the WTG package.
- Experience within the wind industry offshore/onshore.
- Auditing Qualification.
- Degree in an engineering discipline.
