Job Opportunity for Manual Test Analysts!
Our client, a Federal Government Department is seeking the services of multiple Manual Test Analysts for a contracts starting January 2018.
Contract Period: 1 year with possible 12 months extension option.
The roles and responsibilities of the selected candidate will include:
- Design, development and execution of scripts for testing a variety of application products including, Web Services, CRM, workflow systems, SharePoint Portals
- Design, implementation and execution of regression, functional, manual tests
- Documentation and tracking of defects
- Mobile Platform Testing,
- Production of meaningful reports and recommendations from testing results
- Use of MTM, TFS, Visual Studio and Agile techniques an advantage
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in the use of a test tool, including but not limited to Visual Studio and Microsoft Test Manager
- Extensive experience and proficiency in developing test strategies, and plans, the analysis, development and execution of test cases, defect tracking, reporting and resolution in traditional and agile projects
- Well-developed skills in, communication; judgement; research and analysis; problem solving planning and the ability to work with only limited guidance
- Evidence of the following will be considered advantageous
- 3-5 years testing experience with a solid knowledge of testing procedures, processes, tools and techniques
- Knowledge of MTM and Microsoft Visual Studio test tools
- Well-developed communication skills
- Ability to learn new applications, business processes and procedures quickly
- Diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage changing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work as a team member or individual to achieve objectives with some supervision
