My client is a genuine industry leading FMCG giant and they have tasked me with supporting them recruit an Indirect (VAT) Tax Manager role.
This genuine world leader is looking for an Indirect (VAT) Tax Manager to join and lead their team of experienced Indirect (VAT) Tax professionals. You will be working in a complex, highly transnational, cross border VAT environment and as such candidates should have exposure to similar, large scale multinational environments.
This is a leadership Focused role that will require you to support, lead and develop the Indirect (VAT) Tax function from the people to the processes.
Experience of team management within a large scale multi national or consultancy (BIG4 etc) would be considered essential for this role
Candidates are also required to have experience with UK/Ireland and at least one other European jurisdiction.

Qualified Accountant
- Experience of working in large scale multinational environments
- Solid background in Indirect (VAT) Tax
- Exposure to at least one additional major European Indirect (VAT) Tax
- Solid experience in Indirect (VAT) Tax leadership:

- Improving controls
The Indirect (VAT) Tax Manager will be working in an environment that has a healthy blend of contract consultants (many of whom have been on site over two years), BIG4 Consultants and perm employees. As such, it lacks the bureaucracy or many other large scale multinational environments and has developed a culture of getting things done .
This is a contract role for an initial period of 6 months with the potential for extensions well beyond that period.
