*£500 - £550 per day inside IR35.*
My client are a leading Local Authority based in Central London looking for a Finance Manager with Adult Services experience.
*Experience with Adult services is essential.*
To provide high-quality financial accounting, strategic management accounting and procurement advice to a department within the council, including to the relevant Cabinet Member, Strategic Director, senior managers, and others, on behalf of the council's finance function.
1. Planning the delivery of financial management, financial reporting and financial advice and support to the cabinet members, S.151 officer, Strategic Director, departmental service heads, capital programme managers, and others.
2. Planning the procurement strategy for the department and ensuring compliance with corporate procurement requirements and other relevant protocols.
3. Develop a strategy to ensure the finance team can support all services of the department in providing best value and maximising efficient use of financial resources, both in terms of revenue and capital expenditure, over both short and long term.
