Description
Our client is one of the fastest growing Asset Management Businesses in the City. The purpose of this role is to provide legal services, advice and assistance as required in respect of Asset Management, funds law and other applicable laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Point of contact in the Legal team for UK and EU regulatory projects and ongoing regulatory impact on the business
- Drafting and reviewing fund documents and liaising with external counsel for review of the same
- Drafting and negotiating distribution agreements, platform agreements and marketing related documents
- Assist and advise the unit linked business and their cross border activities
Key skills & Experience required:
- Excellent knowledge of Investment Management/funds law and regulation
- Excellent knowledge of commercial contracts, distribution and market related legal documentation and supplier agreements
- Qualified Lawyer
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
