Description
Our client, a consulting business, requires an experienced IT Data Governance/Quality Lead with a Payments/Financial Services background to assist on a robust data governance programme across critical business domains with an objective to experience uplift in the quality of data for Marketing.
To apply you must have the following experience.

8+ Year experience working on data quality rules or issues.

Creating data quality rules that help build strong controls around data flow between systems to ensure data integrity is maintained and good for intended use.

Prepare and publish DQ dashboards for the CDO' office and lay out strategy to close the gaps between target and as is DQ metrics.

Experience with varied database types and environments, including Oracle, MySQL, Hadoop

Background in one of the following: Finance, Economics, Computer Science

Strong technical and analytical skills, as well as hands-on experience with enterprise data management platforms.

5+ years of experience in Informatics - IDQ is a must have.

Proficiency in with Datamodelling, relational databases & writing complex SQL queries.

Prior programming experience in SAS (good to have).

Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools.

Strong interpersonal skills are needed to gain cooperation from various stakeholders.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills to transmit ideas to other parties across teams/geography.

Demonstrable ability to work on large cross-functional teams.

Strong ability to organize, prioritize & dive to details.

Self-motivated individual to perform exploratory research and analysis and brings adequate thought leadership to the process/project.
