Description
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the banks reporting system change
- Delivery of insurance Solvency II reporting system change
- Delivery of readiness assessment to board for finance reporting systems.
- Preparation and managing the solvency II timetable and financial reporting
- Responsible for all technical aspects on the production of solvency II financial information
- Technical review of Solvency II financial information
- Production of new analytical tools to support the preparation of results
Importantly you must have experience of Solvency II, you will be a qualified Accountant with strong regulatory reporting background in particular, Solvency II, Pillar 3 reporting. You will have strong people management skills and be able to both lead team and drive through change.
My Client is looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Experience in the finance and (re)insurance industry
- Worked within projects including leading and driving teams to success
- Experience in European regulatory Insurance filings, especially Solvency II
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand regulatory financial reporting and apply that knowledge to assist in moving the business objectives forward.
- Must have working knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products, balance sheets and income statements
- Management of technology platforms and processes in the domain of Data Warehousing, Financial Reporting and Regulatory Filing
- Solvency II accounting skills
- Implementations, project management experience and keen understanding of full Project Life Cycle
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products - Excel, Visio, SQL Studio
