Senior Automation & Performance Test Consultant - The opportunity
You will be joining a team of testing experts who have a plethora of specialist experience. Being creative and agile encourages growth & innovation within the market and this strategy is engrained within the business.
Working with a variety of different clients across a whole host of sectors, you will use cutting edge technologies and tools to provide the highest level of service.
Senior Automation & Performance Test Consultant
My client are on the lookout for someone with a strong technical background with a passion for delivering quality software. Previous knowledge of testing methods, tools & techniques to solve challenging problems is a must however full training will be provided.
Senior Automation & Performance Test Consultant - Responsibilities
- Design, support & develop a variety of bespoke solutions using commercial tools or built from scratch.
- Establish close relationships with clients to understand their requirements. And utilize the bespoke technologies & tools to improve and offer solutions to problems.
- Mentor & junior members of the team. (The opportunity to lead / manage a team will be available)
- Feedback to clients with expert advice
- Produce concise documentation and reports
Senior Automation & Performance Test Consultant - Desired Skills
- 3 Years' experience in a technical role
- Leadership / mentoring skills
- Background in a consultancy environment
- Ability to develop code in at least one of the following: (C#, C, Scala, C++, PHP, Java, Python, Ruby) Including unit testing
- Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Appium, Ranorex)
- Ability to take an agile approach (SCRUM, Kanban, DSDM, TDD, BDD)
- Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Bamboo, Go, Buildbot)
- Performance testing.
