Description
A Marketing Operations Manager is required to work with a leading global communications and technology organisation in London on an interim basis.
Playing a key role in strategy planning and operations and business management, core responsibilities include:
- Leading the development, execution and measurement of the Marketing department's annual and quarterly planning and holding the team accountable for results
- Continually monitoring the efficiency of the Marketing function via Operations reporting metrics
- Acting as an advisor to the Marketing Director on marketing functional issues
- Ensuring that the full year marketing calendar is in place
- Ensuring effective meeting strategies are in place to ensure information dissemination
- Building and driving an efficient marketing organisation that is able to support a growing business
- Owning and managing marketing processes, tools and technology to support marketing functions
- Ensuring that senior management had sight of process control reporting
- Attending the Monthly Marketing Operations forum and weekly pulse calls
- Developing marketing KPI's, reports and dashboards
- Leading quarterly business reviews in partnership with the MD
- Managing third party marketing technology
- Managing department budgeting, forecasting and operational activities
- Highlighting continuous areas of improvement
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong stakeholder management
- Ability to implement process improvement
- Experience of working with marketing/brand communications in GTM and process improvement mapping
- Excellent networking and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects to time and budget
- Able to lead, motivate and manage agencies to perform to the highest standard
