T4S are currently partnering with a leading systems integrator who are looking for an Enterprise Architect with hands-on experience in Documentum development and technology.
The Enterprise Architect is an experienced professional with strong IT and business process/document management background, excellent communication skills and abilities to conceptualise problems.
Functions and duties
The successful candidate will be participate in the design of the solution(s) to be implemented in DOCUMENTUM and design case management applications using xCP.
Integration with platforms and applications (ECAS, Hermes/HAN, MiPS, ) will be needed. Integration with supplementary components eg Adobe Forms, Electronic Signature and testing of customisations will be required.
Competences
The successful candidate has a very good architectural understanding of the DOCUMENTUM/xCP platform and its technical architecture. He/She has moreover an understanding of business process management, workflow, records management and case management. The successful candidate must be capable of translating business process definition and functional specifications into the technical capabilities of DOCUMENTUM/xCP.
He/She is creative when implementing the solution and can think both in concrete technical terms and on a meta level for implementing more generic behaviour and reusable application templates.
The candidate has good communication skills when explaining implementation path, in the analysis phase, and in knowledge transition sessions on technology and implementation of the DOCUMENTUM/xCP platform and implemented solutions
Formal education
University or higher education or equivalent in the document management or IT domain.
Experience
The successful candidate has at least 6 years of experience with DOCUMENTUM.
The successful candidate has at least 3 years of experience customising DOCUMENTUM and using xCP, developing and integrating add-ons, including external data sources mainly based on Oracle technology. Experience with JAVA would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate will need translating functional analysis into technical design for DOCUMENTUM applications. Hands-on experience of at least 2 years is a requirement.
Languages
The candidate has good documentation skills writing technical implementation documentation. Here we require in-depth knowledge of the English language. Further knowledge of French or other EU language is considered an asset.
