Senior Business Analyst - Daily Rate Contract - Dublin City Centre - Brexit Program
Preference is for insurance background experience - specifically in re-insurance or rebranding.
Job Purpose:
Identify, define and document business/systems requirements and functional requirements for a range of applications (Front End, Middleware, Back End) in line with business strategy. Build in depth understanding of products, processes and systems to support business strategy execution end-to-end.
Responsibilities:
- Work with both business and IT teams to understand and document required application changes as a consequence of Brexit strategy
- Build effective working relationships with business partners and across the project team at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication
- Ensure solutions are consistent with operational and technology best practice
- Support applications development teams and test teams throughout the application change process
- Review test strategy and test documentation to ensure it complies with agreed requirements and overall Brexit strategy
- Support business and test team during test phase with defect triage process
Skills/Competencies Required:
- Excellent communication skills required
- High levels of enthusiasm, commitment, and energy required
- Ability to travel within Europe as and when required (limited duration)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office required
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
Experience Required:
- 5+ years full project/application life cycle experience in a similar position required
- 5+ years of recent prior experience in General Insurance or Financial Services preferable
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in Re-insurance or Finance systems/reporting projects
- Prior experience working in an International environment
